The Little Buckeye League (LBL) was a Dayton area high school athletic conference, which existed from 1948 until the end of the 1963/64 school year, at which point it disbanded. The league consisted of smaller high schools (referred to as Class B through 1956, then Class A beginning in 1957. The primary schools in the league were Germantown, Centerville, and Jefferson, all of whom were members throughout it's entire 16 year run. Membership in the league was constantly in flux, with a total of 12 schools participating in the league at one point or another. The league's peak membership was 9 teams in 1958, the smallest was 4 teams in 1954.

The foundations of the LBL were laid in 1946, when four schools, Germantown, Brookville, Randolph, and Trotwood-Madison, formed the football only Western Montgomery County League. In 1948 the league doubled in size and the name was changed to the Little Buckeye League. Schools added in 1948 were Centerville, West Alexandria, Jefferson, and Beavercreek. Jefferson and Beavercreek were unofficial members in 1948 and became official members in 1949.

West Alexandria dropped out in 1950, and Trotwood-Madison moved to the Southwestern Buckeye League (SWBL) in 1952. Then in 1954, Randolph also left for the SWBL and Beavercreek moved to the Little Six League (L6L), leaving just a four team league. Covington was added in 1955, Dixie and Carlisle in 1957. For the 1958 season, Wayne was added to the league and West Alexandria rejoined after an 8 year absence, bringing the league to 9 teams. Brookville, an original member, moved to the SWBL in 1959; Covington dropped out that same year but returned in 1961.
